PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep excellent transfer performance by the appropriate action of a pretransfer guide plate and to improve jamming processability for the occasion that jamming occurs while transfer material is passing the guide plate even in the case of using a cartridge system having the limitation of aligning accuracy with a body. SOLUTION: The pretransfer guide plate is constituted of an upper guide plate 21 provided on a cartridge side and a lower guide plate 22 provided on a body side, and a projection 23 is formed at the lower part of the upper guide plate 21 and a groove 22' is formed on the lower guide plate 22, respectively. Furthermore, the lower guide plate 22 is set to move back and forth and up and down, and the upper guide plate 21 acts to move the lower guide plate 22 to an optimum position and an optimum angle while securing a gap required to carry the transfer material by meshing the projection 23 of the upper guide plate 21 with the groove 22' of the lower guide plate 22 at the time of the cartridge loading. |
