FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; fuel systems. SUBSTANCE: fuel injection pump has plunger pair, fuel inlet valve 4, fuel outlet valve 5, cam 7 of drive with rocker 6 and control rod 9. Fuel pump has spring-loaded plunger 1 hinge connected with rocker 6 other end of which is coupled with drive cam 7. Control rod 9 with adjusting support 10 is installed in parallel with longitudinal axis of rocker 6. Adjusting support is installed for longitudinal displacement to change ratio of rocker arms in proportion to travel of plunger 1. EFFECT: provision of zero cyclic delivery of fuel for shutting down engine without additional devices, enlarged cyclic delivery adjustment range at better kinematic characteristics of engaging links of pump, reduced overall dimensions of pump. |
