PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the 3-dimensional video signal generator in which an existing 2-dimensional video software is converted into a 3-dimensional video software in a simulating way without the need for a special eyeglass and without production of a 3-dimensional exclusive video image software. SOLUTION: A 2-dimensional video signal from an input terminal 1 is outputted as it is and the other 2-dimensional video signal is delayed in a field memory 5 by a prescribed field and a 3-dimensional video signal is outputted at output terminals 3, 4 in a simulating way. Furthermore, part of the 2-dimensional video signal is given to a motion vector detection circuit 7, from which a motion vector is detected and a CPU 8 controls a memory control circuit 6 depending on the quantity of the motion vector. Thus, the delay of the field memory 5 is controlled. |
