PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus, comprising a specific constitution for vertically moving buckets housing cooked noodles in water and capable of facilitating the water tempera ture control due to the sufficiency of a small water surface area and preventing various germs from contaminating the noodles and enhancing sterilizing effects by boiling and washing. SOLUTION: This apparatus for water washing and cooling cooked noodles is obtained by initially installing plural water washing and cooling tanks 12, 13 and 14 having different heights side by side so as to be adjacent in the order of the heights, a water absorbing means and a bucket moving means. The apparatus is capable of successively supplying water for washing and cooling to the respective water washing and cooling tanks from the tank 14 having a great height to the tanks 13 and 12 in an overflowing manner with a water supply means such as a water supply pipe 16 and further moving buckets 19... housing cooked noodles while meandering the buckets in the respective water washing and cooling tanks from the tank 12 having a small height to the tank 14 having a great height with the bucket moving means such as a chain conveyor 20. Furthermore, a partition wall for dividing the interior of each tank into plural spaces along bucket moving lines is preferably installed in a state of the mutual spaces communicating in the lower side in the tank to improve the cooling efficiency. When the respective water washing and cooling tanks are arranged in a common tank 11. the boiling and washing are preferably collectively carried out. |
