Simple device stopping accidental lift of spinning spindle upper part

A lift preventer for the upper part of a spinning or twister spindle located inside the spindle wharve has a rigid and an elastic securing element fitted inside the wharve. The elastic element is formed as an open springy ring shape which is inserted in an annular groove (6) in the spindle bearing case (1) as a stationary object with a diameter greater than the inner diameter of the unstressed ring (10). The rigid element comprises a bead with two shoulders (8; 9) pointing in opposite directions and with a diameter at its peak which is less than the outer diameter of the ring.
