CONTRASTING AGENTS FOR NEAR INFRARED DIAGNOSIS

Colloidal systems loaded with polymethine dyes having appropriate photophysical and pharmacological properties are disclosed, as well as their use as contrasting agents in fluorescence and transillumination diagnosis in the near infrared spectral range and a process for producing the same.
