The device comprises an elastic ball (1) of plastics or rubber, a low-stretch cord (2) and at least a holder (4) for fixing on a shoe or foot. The cord is connected sliding or fixed to the ball and to a slide element (6) attached to the holder. The elasticity of the ball and the length of the cord are matched with each other and the elastic ball should have such elasticity that when hit it moves in a circle from one side of the foot over the apex to the other side and the centrifugal forces of the ball tighten the cord.
