UV indicator consists of a UV-B-sensitive layer of a combination of (a) a salt of a leuco base of a triarylmethane dye as UV-B-sensitive dye, (b) a polar polymer as binder, which is a good solvent for this dye, and also (c) a UV-nonsensitive contrast dye.
