A reflex reflector comprising at least one prism reflector element (1a'', 1b'') made of a plastic material with good reflection properties and connected to a sealing means (6'') which surrounds the circumference of the prism reflector element and hermetically seals the prism surface from the environment. To allow the reflector to be easily manufactured and reliably fixed, said sealing means is a moulded product (6'') attached to said at least one prism reflector element (1a'', 1b'') without any glue or ultrasonic welding, said moulded product being made of a tougher plastic material than the prism reflector element. Also described is a method for manufacturing said reflector.
