The decorative system (1) incorporates a rectangular rear wall (2), having an under wall (3) extending crossways to its under. On the upper side crossways to the rear wall there is an upper wall (4) and on the long sides there are side walls (5,6). On the front sides of the side walls, front walls (7, 8) are coupled. The side walls are coupled to the rear wall and the front walls with the aid of hinges. The under wall and the upper wall are rigidly connected with the rear wall. All the walls are preferably formed from wood, chipboard or plastic. By folding the front walls tightly, a closed box formation is made.
