The vehicle wheel (1) has at least two shell sections (2,3) as a rim bed (2a) and rim star (3a) each with a shaped inner and outer wall, with at least one connection (S3) bonding them together. Radial hollow spokes (H) are between wall sections of adjacent air openings (5) in the shell sections, with at least one outer and inner ring zone. The wheel is of pressure die cast plate material or rolled cast shells. The shells are of aluminium, magnesium or titanium. The shells can be welded through melt welding, laser welding or electron beam welding. The shells can be bonded together with an adhesive. |
