<p>A dispensing unit (10) is provided having an enclosure (12) with an interior. A plurality of storage locations (18) are distributed over a surface of the enclosure (12). Sensors (20) associated with at least some of the individual storage locations (18) are provided. The unit further includes a multiplicity of receptacles disposed within at least some of the storage locations. Sensors associated with at least some of the individual receptacles are provided. A processor (22) is disposed on the enclosure (12) and connected to receive signals from the storage location-associated sensors (20) and the receptacle-associated sensors.</p> |
