<p>The evaporator adapter for Otto engines, according to the invention has a flat, hollow housing (1) for the heating-medium, embodying a transfer port (10) fitted to the carburetter choke of the engine, the inner heating fluid space (4) of the housing (1) is extended with intake and outlet pipe-ends (5, 6) and evaporating tubes (7) set across the transfer port (10), originating from the wall bounding the opening and with their ends reaching into the heating fluid space (4), and the heating-medium intake pipe-end (5) and heating-medium outlet pipe-end (6) are connected into the water-cooling system of the engine.</p> |
