The engine comprises a compressor block (1) connected to a working block (2) by a combustion chamber block (8) onto which a combustion chamber (9) is mounted. There are sealing gaps (17,18) between the peripheries of the compressor rotor (4) or the working rotor (6) and the inner wall of their respective housings (3,5). The compressor and expansion areas are separated from the combustion chamber. There are movable sliders (12,13) guided in the compressor and working housings. The sliders are formed as stoppers which slide in each housing, contacting the rotors to form a suction chamber (19), compression (20), expansion (21) and exhaust (22) chambers. The stoppers oscillate under radial pressure.
