<p>A method for heating at least one portion of a footwear insert by exposing at least said portion (13, 14) of the insert inside the footwear to a hot air flow at a temperature of 120-140 °C while maintaining a predetermined minimum distance between each hot air outlet (6, 7) and said portion (13, 14) of the insert. The heating device comprises at least one hot air nozzle (4) for insertion into each item of footwear (1) fitted with an insert, and means for positioning the nozzle therein. The nozzle positioning means consist of a recess (2) engageable by the footwear upper, and further include an abutment (10) for restricting the depth of insertion of the nozzle into the footwear.</p> |
