A coating plant for coating films 2 has a belt cover 3 below a coating roller 1. This cover has a frame 4 with guide rollers 5 and two contact pressure rollers 6,7, which hold cover belts 8 against the coating roller 1. At least one contact pressure roller 6,7 is mounted in a pivoting manner on the frame 4 for pivotting away from the coating roller 1 and for supporting the cover belt. By this means, a sag may be produced in the cover belt and it may be moved a sufficient distance from the coating roller 1 for exchanging the cover belts 3 and the guide rollers 5 as well as the contact pressure rollers 6,7.
