A detergent and a binder dried in a heated-air dryer with high pressure spraying the detergent slurry which contains at least one surfactant and at least one builder were granulated in short time by the vertical and continuous granulation mixer. The surface of the obtained high-density granules were coated with surface modifiers such as aluminum silicate, benthonite, molten silica, metallic carbonate, and alkaline metal silicate in a horizontal and continuous coating mixer to give the title detergent.
