A blackboard eraser having a eraser assembly(10) consisted of a pair of erasers(11) having erasing surface, and a supporting board(12) attached between said erasers(11); a main body(20) which said eraser assembly(10) is attached to its front opened part; a chalk powder wiper(40) which rotates by the friction with the blackboard and comprises a pair of large driving pulleys(31) mounted to both sides of the main body(20) to be exposed, a pair of small following pulley(32) mounted inside of the main body(20), a pair of shafts(41) being rotated between said driving pulleys(31) and following pulleys(32) respectively, and a elastic plate(42) having zigzag shape plural striking plates(43) inserted between said shafts(41) to strike said erasers(11); and a chalk powder collecting barrel(50) detachably mounted under the main body(20) is disclosed.
