To produce a pot-shaped hollow ceramic body, with at least one cut-back from the interior outwards, the softened blank is laid in a multipart mould which can be closed and which gives the cut-back. The mantle section is forced by a pressure medium against the cut-back section of the mould. There is a mould (4) with the cut-back (3). A sealing ring (15) is against the upper part of the blank (14) in the mould. A channel (17), to the mould interior (13), delivers a hydraulic or pneumatic pressure to press the mantle surface of the blank against the cut-back of the mould. |
