High density flat textile structure made of polyester hybrid yarns, process for producing composite materials and use of the flat textile structure

Textile material contains hybrid yarn of polyester reinforcing fibres and low-melting polyester matrix fibres and has a density D > 0.6 g/cm<3>, in which D = the ratio of the mass/unit area in g/cm<2> and the thickness in cm. Also claimed is a method of making composites from this material.
