The clamping bar (1) is for the inner roof lining of vehicles with a sliding roof. It is assembled together with a number of bonding points (10) at the transits (11) between adjacent sections (8,9), at the legs (5) and at the strap, to form a frame of metal and preferably steel plate. The sections are laid flat and overlapping to be bonded together as a clamping bar blank. An opening is made at each transit with a recess to form a hollow rivet, with a facing opening at the other side for the rivet bonding. The material is then bent into the shape to form the frame. |
