The pillow is obtained from a strip 1 which, in the manner of a mat, is capable of rolling up on itself in order to form a cylindrical body 2 defining the pillow proper. The strip 1 includes, at its ends, fastening means 3 and 3', in correspondence with one of the faces, whilst, in correspondence with the opposite face, it includes a complementary fastening means 3", such that, during rolling-up, the means 3' are fastened together and provide a stiffening means for starting the rolling-up operation, whilst the cylindrical body 2 obtained during this rolling-up is fastened by means of the means 3 and 3". The strip 1 is formed by a number of layers of a suitable nature, which are superposed and fastened together. Said pillow is supplemented with a pillow case in the form of a tube with its ends stitched to keep it smooth and taut. <IMAGE>
