摘要 PURPOSE:To control the state of the revolution of a moving body by selecting and controlling the number of piezoelectric vibrators applyed with high-frequency voltage in response to the state of the revolution of the moving body and varying the intensity of a progressive-wave component. CONSTITUTION:A progressive wave motor 105 is constituted of a vibrator 108 consisting of a piezoelectric vibrator group 106 and a vibrator section 107 and a moving body 109. The revolution of the motor 105 is controlled in such a manner that a high-frequency voltage signal output from an oscillation circuit 101 is converted into two high-frequency voltage signals, phase of which is displaced mutually, by a phase circuit 102 and applied to the progressive-wave motor 105 through driver circuits 103 and selecting circuits 104. A control circuit 114 is organized of a detector 110 detecting the state of the revolution of the moving body 109, a drive correction circuit 112 outputting a correction signal 113 corresponding to a detecting signal 111 from the detector 110, and said selecting circuits 104. Accordingly, the number of the application of high-frequency voltage to each member of the piezoelectric vibrator group 106 is controlled in response to the state of revolution. This varies the amplitude (intensity) of a progressive-wave component and the state of the revolution of the moving body 109 can be controlled easily.
