Apparatus for preparing and supplying liquid feed to animals

The installation has a number of feed stations (10) connected to a feed preparation unit (30) and control unit with timer. The unit includes a vat (31) in which is mixed and agitated a feed and liquid ingredient. The prepared feed from the vat is transferred into another vat (32) via a pipe (31d) and valve (31e). A distribution system (32c,21,22,23), distributes the feed from the vat (32) in doses to each feed station (10). The amount of feed is determined by a unit (50) which includes a feed dose vat (52b) which determines the quantity of feed that it contains. Means (32c,52b) fill the vat (52) with a volume of feed from the vat which is determined by a control unit (40) as a function of the animal to be fed. The volume of feed contained in the dosing vat (52) is afterwards distributed to the animal.
