A cycle generator system comprises hub generator 1, stabilizer 23, and condenser 24 to supply backup power. The lamp(s) 27 are supplied via a fuse box 25 and switch 26, one power output wire going to fuse box 25 the remainder going to the stabilizer. The generator stator coils 3 are fixed relative to the axle 2 and external connection through the wheel securing nut 9 is established by first spring loaded contacts 12, contact plates 13-16, second spring loaded contacts 20, and contact plates/terminals 22,22a.
