摘要 PURPOSE:To stably output even a data string of several hundreds MHz or above by dividing delay extent input information to an extent of rough delay corresponding to the integer-fold period and an extent of fine delay based on the period of a clock signal by a control part. CONSTITUTION:In a data generating device, period input information (period T) and delay extent input information (delay extent tau) are inputted to a control part 20. The control part 20 causes a clock generator 10 to generate the clock signal having the period T. The control part 20 discriminate whether the delay extent tau is equal to or larger than the period T or not; and if it is equal to or larger than the period T, an integer N which satisfies T>tau-NXT=theta>=0 is obtained and is outputted as rough delay extent information. If the delay extent is smaller than the period T, the control part 20 sets N to 0 and outputs it as rough delay extent information. The control part 20 obtains psi in accordance with psi=tau-NXT-phi and sends it as fine delay extent information. A pivarying means 32 delays the clock signal by pi based on psi as fine delay extent information. The address of a delay memory 50 is accessed by the clock signal, which the pi varying means 32 outputs, to output a desired delayed data string.
