The tool is designed for rapid fixing onto a threaded rotating shaft of a wheel balancer. The tool has a body(1) with at least a clamping grip(2), closed by a cover(3). The tool contains a flexible reset system(7) forming part of a rotating actuating element(8) designed to radially displace two threaded pieces(13). The actuating element(8) and the two pieces(13) forming threaded combs are fixed together sensibly symmetric by a balance mounting, comprising a slot(14) and a pin(15), so as to displace the pieces(13) in a radial translation direction without any deviation force at the moment of actuating the element(8).
