<p>The switch comprises a cylindrical box (32,34) which includes a solid rear section (58). This rear section includes a central passage (78) and peripheral passages (80A,80B,80C) arranged near to the edges of the solid section. Each of these peripheral passages holds a fixed contact (50A,50B,50C). A fixed central contact (48) is connected to the three contacts (50A,50B,50C) respectively connected to a starter supply circuit, an ignition coil and an electrical accessory supply circuit. The box surrounding the switch is formed from two parts, the first of which (32) lies beneath the solid contact carrying section. The second of these parts (34) comprises a half-cylindrical section which fits over and around the solid section. These two sections fit together elastically to enclose the contact space.</p> |
