PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for interactively correcting a text and for providing user guidance in a word processor and the other application program. SOLUTION: In the method, the monitoring of user input is contained and a previously decided event is identified. The previously decided event in a rule base 58 is scheduled for evaluation in response to the identification of the previously decided event. The evaluation of the event generates a subordinate event and a scheduled rule. The evaluation of the rule contains decision whether a condition on the rule is satisfied or not. In the case of approval, the other event or rule is scheduled in accordance with the rule, or an operation for automatically corrected text is started, or information useful for the user is displayed. |
