PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deficiency in connection extra length and prevent the breakage of a collector owing to such a phenomenon that an optical fiber is drawn in an optical fiber cable (what is called a swallowing phenomenon) when the optical fiber cable is towed and laid. SOLUTION: This towing tool is equipped with a grip member support board 26 which gives a ribbon 17 of optical fibers a resistance force against drawing into the optical fiber cable 15 by supporting a cable grip member 16 which is mounted at a terminal of the optical fiber cable 15 and a fiber gripping member 19 which grips slidably the ribbon 17 of optical fibers led out of the terminal of the optical fiber cable 15. |
