PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fitting of an eaves soffit material after the outer wall is finished, to contribute to shortening of a term of works, to attain also reduction of materials for fitting the eaves soffit material and shortening of an operating time and thereby to reduce the cost. SOLUTION: A fitting structure of an eaves soffit material which is fitted to the back of eaves along a space between the outer wall of a building and the edge of the eaves of a roof. The eaves soffit material 16 is fixed to a siding 3 fitted on the outer wall. The eaves soffit material 16 is fixed on the lower surface side of a bar material 12 fitted to the siding 3. In more detail, the eaves soffit material 16 is made to engage with and supported by a groove of a joiner member 14 fitted on the lower surface of the bar material 12. Moreover, a joint reinforcing material 17 stretching between the outer wall and the edge of the eaves is provided at least above one side part of the eaves soffit material 16 and the adjacent eaves soffit materials are connected together, with this joint reinforcing material 17 interposed. Besides, the joiner member 14 is provided also as an eaves soffit end material 15 exposed along the lower surface of the end part of the eaves soffit material 16. |
