PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnostic device for electronic equipment with which serviceability/maintainability is improved without requiring any I/F dedicated to maintenance or debugging. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an input/output port part 300, selector 304 for selecting either a port 301 for RS232C or a port 302 for interval diagnosis, voltage transforming part 305 and mode changeover switch 306. The input/output port part 300 is provided with the port 301 for RS232C, port 302 for internal diagnosis and port 303 for switch state detection for detecting the state of the mode changeover switch 306. Corresponding to a switch signal 309 depending on the operation of the mode changeover switch 306, the selector 304 selects either the port 301 for RS232C or the port 302 for internal diagnosis and connects the selected port to the voltage transforming part 305. |
