PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image-forming from being executed on an image forming condition which is not suitable for transfer material by stopping an image forming sequence in the case of the transfer material where different kinds of transfer material coexist. SOLUTION: A paper thickness detection part S5 is provided with a displacing amount detecting means 100 and a paper thickness detecting roller 56. Then, a paper thickness value KN expressing the thickness of the first transfer material P is decided. In the case of forming the image on the N-th (N≠1) transfer material, K1 being the paper thickness value of the first transfer material P is compared with the paper thickness value KN of the second and succeeding transfer material P. In the case a difference between them largely exceeds a previously set error range, an operation part gives a warning that the transfer material P is coexistently placed by using a transfer material coexistently placing warning means in a system controller even if plural sheets of transfer material P to which image-forming must be performed are left thereafter, whereby a resist roller 56 is turned off, image-forming is executed till the turn of the transfer material P at which the coexistently placing is judged and the image forming sequence is stopped by an image forming stopping means in the system controller. |
