<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the functions of a display monitoring device by the use of the coordinate detecting function of a tablet to be a coordinate reader in a display system fixing the tablet to the display monitoring device and using the tablet together with a personal computer. SOLUTION: When one of mark parts 5 to 8 consisting of seals or the like stuck to a non-display area 4 on a screen is touched with a finger or a pen, its coordinate position is read out by the tablet 1. The coordinate data read out from the tablet 1 are outputted and sent to the display monitoring device 2. A coordinate conversion part arranged on the monitoring device side converts the sent coordinate data into a corresponding control signal. Required control is executed based upon the converted control signal.</p> |
