PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an optimum gap regulation and the orthogonalization between a sub-scanning direction and a main scanning direction of a method wherein the position of a guide shaft is made regulable bidirectionally by rotatably supporting a second adjuster member about a position offset from the binary center of a first adjuster member supported to a fixed member. SOLUTION: In a head position regulating mechanism provided on a side plate 2 as a fixed member, a first adjuster member 12 is rotatably supported in a supporting hole 11 made in the side plate 2 so as to rotatably support a second adjuster member 14 in a supporting hole 13 provided at a position offset from the turning center P1 of the first adjuster member 12. Further, a supporting hole 15 for supporting a guide shaft 3 is formed at a position offset from the turning center P2 of the second adjuster member 14. By rotating either one of the adjuster members 12 and 14, the gap between a head and an image receiving material is changed, while by rotating the other of the adjuster members, the angle between the moving direction of a carriage and the feeding direction of the image receiving material is changed. |
