PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the position of a subject by showing a camera and the object in a superposed state on a prepared map. SOLUTION: The position of a subject is calculated by use of an arithmetic operation means 18 on the basis of camera attitude angle and azimuth, distance up to the subject, and camera position (latitude and longitude), respectively detected by a camera attitude angle and azimuth detection means 11, a means 16 for detecting distance to the subject, and the global positioning system(GPS) 17. Then, the position of the subject and the camera position are superposed on a map screen prepared via the GPS 17, so as to correspond to the camera position, and the screen is shown on a display 19. |
