PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original polyethylene terephthalate(PET) bottle cutting implement capable of extremely easily pricking cutting blades into a PET bottle and easily cutting the peripheral surface of the body of the PET bottle. SOLUTION: A pair of embracing half bodies 1 provided with gripping parts 2 in their respective base parts are freely openably and closably constituted by pivotally fixing their front ends. A pair of the embracing half bodies 1 are so constituted that the peripheral surface of the body of PET bottle may be embraced from the outer side when their respective gripping parts 2 are mated together by matching and closing a pair of the embracing half bodies. At least one of the embracing parts 4 of a pair of the embracing half bodies 1 are projectingly provided with the cutting blade plate parts 5 which are pricked into the peripheral surface of the body of PET bottle when the bottle is embraced by directing these parts to the opposite inner side. The peripheral surface of the body of PET bottle is embraced by the embracing parts 4 of a pair of the embracing half bodies 1, by which the cutting blade plate parts 5 are pricked to the peripheral surface of the body of PET bottle. The peripheral surface of the body of PET bottle is cut by gripping and turning the gripping parts 2 of a pair of the embracing half bodies 1 relative to the PET bottle. |
