PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a data processor to acquire minute data in a largely changing area and not to acquire data uselessly in a scarcely changing area by thinning out or sampling data so that distances between data can become constant in a multidimensional space. SOLUTION: In a distance calculating process 3b, the distances between dataτn andξn inputted from an A/D converter 2 and preceding output dataτp andξp in a two-dimensional space are calculated and, in a distance comparing process 3d, the distances (d) are compared with a prescribed distance D and, only when the distances (d) are longer than the distance D, the dataτn andξn are outputted through a thinning process 3a. In a data storing process 3c, the dataτn andξn are stored as the preceding output dataτp andξp whenever the dataτn andξn are outputted from the thinning process 3a.
