PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal pressure bonding apparatus automatically judging the generation of jamming to immediately discharge a composite sheet material from an insertion port. SOLUTION: In a thermal pressure bonding apparatus bonding a composite sheet material wherein a plastic film is superposed on a sheet material under heating and pressure by a thermal pressure bonding roller 2, a first sensor 5 is arranged on the upstream side of the thermal pressure bonding roller 2 and a second sensor 6 is arranged on the downstream side of a discharge roller and, when the arrival of the composite sheet is not sensed by the second sensor even if a predetermined set time is elapsed after the first sensor senses the composite sheet, the respective rollers are automatically reversely rotated to discharge the jammed composite sheet from the insertion port.
