PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a bad smell absorption function of a defrosting heater where a deodrizing coating is applied on the surface of a glass tube heater upon cooling interruption excepting the time for feeding cold air, and defrosting during cooling, without deteriorating cooling capability. SOLUTION: There are provided a refrigerating machine 9, a cold air stirring fan motor 10, and a defrosting heater 19 disposed below the condenser 9, and supplied with power during defrosting. A deodrizing coating is applied on the surface of the defrosting heater 19. In such a refrigerator 1, a deodrizing device thereof is adapted such that power is supplied intermittently to the defrosting heater 19 not only upon defrosting but also upon cooling interruption other than upon feeding cold air and upon defrosting during cooling. |
