PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation type actuator capable of outputting thrust having no fluctuation of the thrust. SOLUTION: In this rotation type actuator, wherein the rotation force of a rotor (actuator) is changed into thrust in a straight line direction, by a screw mechanism composed of a screw formed on the rotor, and a screw formed on a lead screw spindle 40 (output spindle), to be outputted via the lead screw spindle 40; the screw mechanism is constituted of male and female screws 33a and 41 having different flank anglesα1, andα2 respectively to make the contact positions, of contact diameters d2 of both the screws, nearly constant.
