PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flux and purity of oxygen by conducting countercurrent pressure reduction to atmospheric pressure in the initial part of the final stage and countercurrent elution by the product oxygen at the end part. SOLUTION: A valve 9 is closed until the intermediate pressure of 1.5-2×10<5> Pa is exceeded. Compressed air is introduced into an adsorber through its inlet, and oxygen is extracted from its outlet in a production phase (stages T1 to T3 ). Valves 10A and 10B are closed and the valve 9 is opened at time T3 in the final stage of the production phase, and the absorber is subjected to first concurrent pressure reduction (stages T3 and T4 ). The discharged gas participates in the repressurization of another adsorber. The valve 9 is opened and exhaust valves 12A and 12B are opened at time T4 . Accordingly, the absorber is subjected to countercurrent pressure reduction (stages T4 and T5 ) until a low pressure Pa in the cycle. On this level, the adsorber is subjected to concurrent elution (stages T5 and T6 ) by the product gas while the exhaust valves 12A and 12B and the valve 9 are opened.
|
