PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry used tea leaves or bean-curd lees at low costs by disposing a screw in an SUS made cylinder, providing cylinder heating means, and forming a water evaporation transparent hole in the upper part of the cylinder. SOLUTION: Used tea leaves or bean-curd lees changed into one end of an SUS made cylinder 1 are rolled in the cylinder 1 with the aid of the cylinder 1 rotated by drive means 11 and is moved from the one end of the cylinder 1 to the other end. Meanwhile, the cylinder 1 is heated with cylinder heating means 31. Accordingly, the used tea or the bean-curd lees are rolled in contact with the heated internal surface of the cylinder 1, and is moved from the one end of the cylinder 1 to the other end while being stirred. Meanwhile, water evaporated from the tea leaves or the bean-curd lees goes out to the outside of the cylinder 1 from a water evaporation transparent hole 33 formed in the upper part of the cylinder 1. Hereby the used tea leaves or the bean-curd lees are satisfactorily dried at low costs. |
