PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and a device for a sounding body which can make a sounding body perform stable sounding with simple constitution. SOLUTION: An exponential function showing relation between an elapse time and an attenuation coefficient is stored in a ROM 2. The attenuation coefficient is exponentially attenuated according to elapse of a time. A microcomputer 1 obtains a coefficient attenuating exponentially according to elapse of a time based on the exponential function, and obtains a duty ratio using an equation, (duty ratio)=(fundamental duty) × (attenuation coefficient). The microcomputer 1 outputs a chopping signal with this duty ratio, and inputs it to a base of a transistor Q. Thereby, a chime sound is outputted from a loudspeaker SP. |
