PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent red heat of a load pan and discoloration of a plate surface due to the pan left empty when heating starts, by carrying out heating at a second output setting lower than a first output setting which is the maximum output setting. SOLUTION: A load pan which is magnetically well conjunctive and has a small plate thickness is placed on a top plate 4 by a user. Heating starts by pressing a heating key. An output setting means 8, setting an output at 1450W, starts heating, because an operation condition selecting means 13 does not select control carried out by a second temperature control means 12. An operation indicating part indicates a 1450W setting. Temperature of the heated pan having a small plate thickness rises steeply because of its small thermal capacity. A first temperature control means 11 stops or lowers an output of an inverter part 6 when temperature detected by a temperature detecting element 10 reaches 250 deg.C. |
