PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lock device for a column AT shift lever by which restriction of laying a shift lock cable is eliminated and which can dispense with a fine adjustment of an installing length. SOLUTION: A slider 6 elastically energized to the brake pedal 13 side by a comparatively strong first spring 9 is arranged in a shift lock box 5 on the brake pedal 13 side, and the tip of a key interlock cable 1 and the tip of a shift lock cable 2 are installed by a spherical bearing. A stopper 7 to lock the slider 6 when only the key interlock cable 1 is pulled to the key side, is arranged in this slider 6. A comparatively weak second spring 11 is arranged on the shift lever 12 side of the shift lock cable 2, and the shift lock cable 2 is pulled to the shift lever 12 side. |
