PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compute a tilt angle using an acceleration sensor by which the tilt angle can be accurately detected with a comparatively simple structure even if a moving body is at a standstill. SOLUTION: First acceleration sensor 5 is fitted parallel to the traveling direction of a vehicle 1, and second acceleration sensor 7 is simultaneously fitted tilting a predetermined angleθ2 against the traveling direction of the vehicle 1. Based on the first acceleration a1 detected by the first acceleration sensor 5 and the second acceleration a2 detected by the second acceleration sensor 7, a tilt angleθ1 when the vehicle 1 travels on a tilt face 3 is computed byθ1 =cos<-1> a2 -a1 cosθ2 )/gsinθ2 .
