The molten steel in casting ladle is refluxed at reduced pressure to induce the decarbonization treatment, where the carbon concentration in molten steel of casting ladle is calculated by extracting the quantity of decarbonization obtained by the following equation(I) from the initial carbon concentration of casting ladle. d[C /dt = Fg (t)= XCO(t)+XCO2(t)/100= 12/22.4= 1/w=G1000 (I), where Fg(t) is total amount of exhaust gas(Nm3/min), XCO(t) is CO(%) at time t, XCO2(t) is CO2(%) at time t, and w is quantity of molten steel(ton). The calculated carbon concentration from equation (I) is multiplied to calibrating constant P in equation P = A+Bt, where A is an analysis value of carbon concentration in molten steel of ladle and B is a constant being decided from the carbon concentration obtained from the equation (I).
