PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connection device which can facilitate the fitting of optical fiber. SOLUTION: A holder positioning member 50 is equipped with a positioning wall part 51 which has a reference surface 51c and a groove 52 into which a bare fiber 3 is inserted and a couple of guide wall parts 53 and 53 which are positioned on both sides of the groove 52 and guide a holder 10 when the holder 10 is guided to the reference surface 51c. At the positioning wall part 51, a guide surface 51d which is continuous to the reference surface 51c and slants upward is formed from the open end side of the groove 52 to the groove inside, the periphery 52a of the groove open end of the groove 52 is set gradually increasing in size from the groove inner part to the groove open end, and the entrance parts 53a and 53a of the guide wall parts 53 and 53 are set so that the size gradually increases from the inner part to the open end. |
