PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the output voltage stably even if the input voltage fluctuates over a control speed by selecting between an output control based on the increment/decrement of a detected output value and an output control based on the absolute value of input voltage. SOLUTION: The power supply comprises first means for controlling the output based on the increment/decrement of a value received from an output detecting means, and second means for controlling the output such that the value from output detecting means is equal to a reference value. When the input voltage is stable, feedback control is performed through increment/ decrement tuns production a stabilized output. When the input voltage fluctuates abruptly, direct control is performed depending on the input voltage thus preventing significant deviation of the output voltage from a specified value. Since feedback control can be restarted upon ending fluctuation of input voltage, settling time of output voltage can be shortened. |
